Cory Stengel has worked as an Occupational Health Consultant for Oregon OSHA since 1992. He has assisted dozens of companies in the fermentation industry throughout Oregon. These include: microbreweries, wineries, cider mills, kombucha breweries and micro distilleries. His focus is on helping these businesses become self sufficient in managing their safety and health programs to identifying physical and chemical exposure hazards. Cory holds a certification in Safety & Health Management through the Institute for Safety and Health Management. In addition to providing safety and health consultative services to Oregon employers, he has helped various companies achieve both the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star status and the Oregon OSHA Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) status.
