George Djohan

George Djohan was born in Bandung, Indonesia. He attended Purdue University, Indiana and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. He obtained his Professional Engineer License in the state of Michigan. Upon graduation, he joined a reputable engineering company in Michigan. He was involved in the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of several large gas power plants in USA. In 2008, George Djohan joined General Electric as field application engineer in GE Power & Water division. He was responsible for technical and economic analysis to set up the best solution for both GE and its customers. He took a position as Senior Sales Account Manager in November 2010 and later as Country Leader for Gas Power Systems Division, responsible for GE gas turbine, HRSG, and combined cycle steam turbine for Indonesian market. In his spare time, George Djohan enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, listening to music, cycling, and doing outdoor activities.
