Magali Gontier is an expert and project manager specialized in decentralized power generation from renewable energy sources, with a strong focus on solar and wind. Her international experience includes projects in Europe, Latin America and Asia covering technologies such as large-scale and small-scale wind turbines and wind farms, solar thermal power, photovoltaics, tidal power and geothermal power. She is experimented in managing multidisciplinary projects related to these technologies. She started her carrier in engineering for wind and solar projects, with resource assessments, feasibility studies, technical specifications and contracting, construction follow-up, and trainings. For several years now she has been active in research and innovation (technology watch, pilot projects development, knowledge sharing) and specialized expertise services (technical due diligences, technology assessments, technical counselling) on renewable energy technologies, distributed power generation and microgrids integrating renewable energy generation.
