Mr Michael Hutchinson joined CLP as Senior Director – Fleet Management in October 2015. He is responsible for the technical performance of CLP’s fleet of assets including common standards for asset operations and maintenance and achieving operational excellence. He also supports the development and leveraging of engineering capability in CLP and Innovation initiatives. Mr Hutchinson holds a degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Electro-Mechanical) and has over 30 years of engineering and business management experience. Prior to joining CLP, Mr Hutchinson was the Group Executive Manager Operations and Construction at EnergyAustralia for more than 10 years. Earlier in his career, Mr Hutchinson worked in Edison Mission Energy where he was responsible for managing a fleet of coal, gas and hydro assets in South East Asia and Australia.
