Peter Smart has over 30 years experience in the coal industry and power generation sector. Peter has been based for the last 28 years in Asia working for Jacobs on projects in the electricity supply industry. Peter is currently based in Jacobs’s Malaysian office as the Manager for Jacobs's Asia Power Generation business. Peter’s experience covers project and construction management and operations of power utility projects throughout Asia including 3 years as the general manager of a power utility operation. Peter's experience includes Lenders' Engineer roles, due diligence studies, concept engineering, feasibility studies, EP documentation and tender evaluation and Owner's Engineer roles.
