David Platt is a senior energy and finance lawyer. Having commenced his career more years ago than he is prepared to admit doing foreign investment and financing into China's power sector, the wheel has now come full circle as he spends a very significant part of his time on Belt and Road Financings in South and South East Asia, the Middle East and Asia. He is qualified in England, Hong Kong and Singapore, has nearly 30 years' experience in power projects and has lived and worked in Asia for over 20 years.
