With over 2 decades of experience leading National and Multi-National Infrastructure Companies, Heru Dewanto surely knows the ropes of the industry. During the course of his career, he handled a wide range of Infrastructure Projects, including Power Plant, Toll Roads, Railway Construction, LRT, Waste and Water Management, Housing, EPC Contractor and Consultant. Today, Heru serves as President Director of Cirebon Power, a Multi-National company operating 1x660MW Clean Coal Power Plant (Utilizing Supercritical Technology) and 1x1000MW Ultra-Supercritical Power Plant in Cirebon West Java. Working with a vision of Sustainable Development through Clean Coal Technology, put him in the center of the 35GW Mega Project. Heru led Cirebon Power to two regional awards: ASEAN Coal Award 2013 (Clean Coal Use Technology) and more recently Asian Power Awards 2016 (Coal Power Project of the Year). Heru Dewanto is a Civil Engineer from Yogyakarta’s Universitas Gajahmada. He continued his Post-Graduate Study in Universitat Innsbruck (Austria) then acquire his Masters Degree from Great Britain’s Leeds University. He currently heads the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (PII) as President-elect, Secretary General of Indonesian Electrical Power Society, and Vice President of ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology
