Iker Garmendia, New Business Manager in Indar Electric. Mr. Garmendia has a M.Sc. degree in Automatic control and electronics from University of the Basque Country and a Bachelor of Science (Eng) degree in Industrial electronics engineering from Mondragon University. With more than 25 years of experience in electric and power electronics industry, he has a wide range experience in renewable energy field. He joined Ingeteam Group in 1993 as project engineer (3 years), becoming project Manager (11 years), Basic Technology Director (4 years), advanced Projects Manager (1 year) and PGA Power Electronics Systems Director (5 years). He is inventor in 15 patent / applications. At present he’s responsible for developing new business opportunities in the field of rotating electrical machines, and Technical advisor for Power Electronics and Systems Integration at Indar Electric, Indar Máquinas Hidráulicas and Ingeteam Power Technology (Power Grid Automation Business Unit).
