Craig Shaffer, CSP

Craig is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with over 28 years of occupational safety and health experience in the construction and manufacturing industries.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from Penn State and is an authorized instructor for the construction OSHA-10 & OSHA-30.  He also instructs Red Cross & American Heart Association 1st Aid & CPR/AED programs. Craig is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and is a Qualified Accident and Illness Prevention Service provider (PA Bureau of Workers Comp).  For 14 years, Craig served on the Associated Builders and Contractors National Environment, Health and Safety Committee (2009-10 chair) and on the safety committees of local chapters.  Craig has spoken at various national safety conferences as well as the PA Governor's Safety Conference.  He co-founded SafetyWorks, Inc. in 1999, and prior to that was a senior loss control consultant for a regional insurance carrier.
