Nicolas is a ride inspector for Socotec, the leading inspection body in France. As a self-confessed “geek”, Nicholas had been passionate about theme parks for years, but wanted to work in the field as an engineer and become a professional in the industry. After graduation from “Arts Et Métiers Paristech” in 2015, where he got a MSc in Risk Management (and after a lot of cover letters later) he joined a French ride manufacturer as Project Manager. In September 2016, and 2 rollercoasters projects later, Nicolas was hired by Socotec to perform ride inspection. However he found himself spending most of his time working on the ‘bigger project’, so in January 2017, he started to manage the “Parc Spirou” project from an inspection body point of view. Parc Spirou had it’s grand opening in June 2018.
