Ms. Xiomara Ford was selected and appointed as the Cybersecurity Division Chief with the Services Directorate of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC) on January 8th, 2018. As the Cybersecurity Division Chief, she leads efforts to oversee the execution of the cybersecurity objectives across SEC and provided independent security control testing validators and software assurance services throughout the Army and Department of Defense. Her support to the Department of Army began in 2001 at the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF) at Fort Hood, TX with the Tech Division as a software programmer and responsible for the development of web tools used for Army Interoperability Certification Testing. In 2006, she transitioned to the Fort Hood Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and was responsible for the data center services provided to the Garrison Command. Her Acquisition Corp experience began in 2007 while supporting cyber engineering efforts for Product Director Tactical Network Initialization & Communications (PD TNI&C) under the Program Manager Office of Network Enablers. In early 2014, she began supporting Program Manager Electronic Warfare and Cyber and was responsible for overseeing cybersecurity activities for 4 Product Offices that included Product Director Electronic Attack (PD EA), Product Manager Electronic Warfare Integration (PdM EWI), Product Manager Prophet (PdM Prophet) and Product Manager Information Warfare (PM IW). During her tenure, she provided oversight to the development of Cybersecurity Strategies, Program Protection Plans, Red/Blue Penetration Testing activities, Software Assurance, Validate On-Line Threat Reporting, Security Classification Guides, Cyber Defensive and Offensive operations.
