Mr. Alex Cochran was appointed to the Defense Intelligence Senior Level in January 2018. In this capacity, he serves as the Army and Intelligence and Security Command’s Senior Cryptologic Advisor. Recognized as the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command’s subject matter expert on Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) operations; he provides expert advice on the development and implementation of service SIGINT capabilities and integration into both the Army Intelligence Warfighting Function and the National Security Agency’s Cryptologic Enterprise, the establishment of Army SIGINT requirements in support of Army Service Component Commanders’ operational needs, and the coordination and integration of SIGINT, Cyber, and Electronic Warfare doctrine and strategic planning.
