CW4 Matthews is the Technical Director for the Cyber Tactical Operations Center within the Joint forces Headquarters – Cyber (JFHQ-C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER). His first Warrant Officer assignment was with the 532nd Military Intelligence Battalion United States Army Garrison Humphreys, Korea. His next assignment was with the 527th Military Intelligence Battalion United States Army Garrison Humphreys, Korea. Following his tours in Korea, his third assignment was with the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade, Fort Gordon, GA where he served as the collections and processing officer in charge for the Central Command’s (CENTCOM) Theater Support Activity – Afghanistan. From this assignment, CW4 Matthews was chosen to attend the Joint Cyber Analysis Course. Upon graduation, his next assignment was with the 781st Military Intelligence Battalion (Cyber), where he had the opportunity to serve as an Exploitation Analyst and the Operations Officer within the Army’s first National Mission Team. His next assignment was with the 782nd Military Intelligence Battalion (Cyber), Fort Gordon, GA where he served as the senior technical advisor for a Combat Mission Team in support of cyber operations within the CENTCOM Area of Operations. During this assignment, he applied for branch transfer to the newly established Cyber Branch and was transferred to MOS 170A – Cyber Operations Technician. His fifth and most recent assignment was with JFHQ-C ARCYBER where he served in the J3 as the technical lead for nine multi-service Combat Mission Teams across two separate geographic commands. CW4 Matthews has attended the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Warrant Officer Candidate School, Warrant Officer Basic Course, Warrant Officer Advance Course, and the Warrant Officer Staff Course.
