CW5 Wimmer is presently the senior technical advisor to the US Army Network Cross Functional Team. CW5 Wimmer is matrixed to the N‐CFT from the Cyber Center of Excellence Fort Gordon Georgia. Prior assignments include 4th Infantry Division, US Joint Forces Command, Defense Intelligence Agency, US Africa Command, and US Army Network and Enterprise Technology Command. CW5 Wimmer’s operational deployments include tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. His awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star with oak leaf cluster, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, and the Meritorious Service Medal. CW5 Wimmer is currently stationed at Fort Gordon, GA.
