Renee Loveland was among the first employees of Gerding Edlen hired during the Firm’s first year of operations in 1996 and has over 20 years of experience in real estate development. As Director of Sustainability, Renee leads the firm’s sustainability initiatives, including tenant engagement and community impact, across the investment management, property management and development portfolios. She is responsible for the overall LEED certification process and contributes heavily to early design decisions that affect long-term building performance. Renee was co-creator of Gerding Edlen’s proprietary Livable Place Index, a system of metrics to measure building performance, and is responsible for all ESG reporting including Gerding Edlen’s B Corp certification. Renee is a member of the USGBC Pilot Credit Committee and holds LEED BD+C and LEED for Homes accreditations.
