An engineer from the Polytechnic School of Turin and a former student of the Ponts et Chaussées, Matteo Perino began his professional career in retail real estate between France and Italy, then in the development of mixed urban projects, within the Altarea Cogedim group, the 3rd largest French property developer. In March 2016, Matteo joined the EuropaCity team, the new leisure destination in Greater Paris, as Director of Operations. Its missions are structured around: - the construction of innovative partnerships in the leisure and hotel sectors - the general design of the project with a multidisciplinary team of architects, prospectivists, engineers, experts in sustainable development, circular economy, sociologist. In 2016, among other things, he led the major architectural competition to select the 10 architects who will participate in the creation of EuropaCity after consulting 50 French and international architectural firms in order to make it an emblematic place in the North-East of France and above all a tourist attraction destination.
