Maya Andreou graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, the country’s most prestigious engineering school and one of the highest ranking in its league. Her expertise is in Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and she focuses on the energy transition towards a sustainable energy mix, based on RES, protecting the environment and increasing energy efficiency. She has worked on RES projects in Greece and Mexico. She also has artistic studies with a degree from the drama school of the Athens Conservatory and professional experience in theatre. She is a member of Wind of Renewal, a Greek cooperative with the main goal of promoting local energy production.
