After having completed both a master in Applied Physics and in Environmental System Sciences, Klaus Lichtenegger has done a PhD in theoretical elementary particle physics, including a research stay at NYU (New York) before moving to research in the field of renewable energy, focussed on modelling, simulation and optimization. He is author and co-author of several publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and of textbooks on physics and applied mathematics
