Ayah Alfawaris is an Energy Research Analyst at N-ERGY Power Solutions, a UK-based company providing power and maintenance services to renewable energy and capacity market projects. The UK is committed to increase renewables contribution to the energy mix and incentivize investment in secure and low-carbon electricity. Amid the electricity market reform, regulations witness several amendments along the way. Ayah focuses on analyzing these changes and their impact on the market and the sector in general. Ayah holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s in sustainability and business. Prior to joining N-ERGY, Ayah had extensive experience working in solar energy. She received an international award by the Association of Energy Engineers in the US naming her ‘2014 Young Energy Professional of the Year’ in appreciation of her work to transform the electricity industry.
