Vladimir Preveden studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics at the Graz University of Technology, Austria, and the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, Spain. At the University of Vienna, he completed his PhD in Innovation Management. In 1999, he joined the international consulting company Roland Berger, in January 2015, he was promoted Managing Partner for Austria. He has supported major international corporations in Austria and across Europe in strategically relevant topics. Furthermore, he is the author of studies analyzing turning points initiated by digital technologies and subsequent cultural change. International attention has arisen above all from his works on new skill sets needed in the era of emerging digitization, and on how Vienna will be able to join the top league of European start-up hubs.
