Juan Camilo Daza was born in Bogota, Colombia. He received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes, Bogota, Colombia and his M.S. degree in renewable energy from the Universidad de La Laguna, San Cristobal de La Laguna, Spain in 2014. He has worked in the field of renewable energy as a research scientist, a wind engineer and a business development engineer.
