Nancy McKay is the chief executive officer of NEST Fragrances, a leading designer and manufacturer of exceptionally crafted fine and home fragrances founded in 2008 by Laura Slatkin. After joining the company as CEO in January 2015, Nancy strategically focused the business and organization to capitalize on and accelerate the success of the NEST Fragrances brand by deepening the senior leadership team, expanding both the home and fine fragrance product lines and distribution channels, and bolstering the brand’s digital presence. Since Nancy took the helm in January 2015, NEST Fragrances has experienced substantial and sustained quarterly growth, which has considerably elevated the brand’s market position as one of the most important, fragrance-forward, innovative American prestige fragrance brands. In 2017, Nancy oversaw the sale of the company to Eurazeo Brands. Prior to being appointed CEO of NEST Fragrances, Nancy was general manager and senior vice president, North America, of the Estee Lauder brand, Tom Ford Beauty and AERIN Beauty at The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc., where she was employed for 28 years. A well-known veteran of the beauty industry, she is a widely respected business leader, accomplished brand-builder, and skilled team-builder. Nancy is also responsible for strengthening and growing many other world-renowned beauty and fragrance brands, including Clinique, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors Fragrances. Nancy is a member of the FSU Foundation Board of Trustees and serves as the FSU Ambassador to the YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund. She also volunteers as a student mentor for the Cosmetics Fragrance Marketing and Management program at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Further, Nancy serves on the board of directors of the Fragrance Foundation. Nancy lives in Manhattan with her husband, Richard.
