Maria Caranfa is the lead Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for Bloomin’ Brands Inc. She leads nutrition strategy, nutrition food policy, nutrition analysis, nutrition communication, healthful menu development, and specialty menus globally for America’s favorite restaurants: Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar. Maria is an award winning food and nutrition professional, and currently the Steering Committee President of the National Restaurant Association’s Food and Nutrition Executive Study Group. She has spent the last 20 years bringing nutrition to life through product and menu development, and food and nutrition communication.
