Joachim De Munck is a former tv producer & director. For more than 16 years he worked for all main broadcast stations in the Benelux and directed commercials for A brands like Kelloggs, Coca Cola, Birdseye, Nivea a.o. During all these years his passion was theatrical shows & tv shows for children. As a magician he used to entertain birthday parties from a young age and he has seen the industry of birthday parties evolve from the nineties till now. With fresh insides how to build a birthday party centre with a theatre he stopped working for television and started training to enter the world of FEC's. In 2012 he joined IAAPA seminars in Orlando & Europe and did a lot of internships at FEC's in the US, UK, France, Holland, Germany and visited more than 180 premises to consolidate a firm business plan for the funding of the centre. Together with some friends and theme builders from TV world he created Legenturia Indoor Fun & Entertainment Center. The 60.000 sqft centre was opened in 2015 by former EU president Van Rompuy and is Belgium’s first FEC that caters not only to kids (playground), teenagers (lasertag, bowling, zorb, escape rooms, minigolf,...) but also specializes in theatrical performances in the 300 seat theatre for birthday parties. Joachim is grateful for all the knowledge that he acquired thanks to other IAAPA members and he likes to share some insights on domains he knows best and share some original and dirt cheap useful tricks for concepting themed birthday parties & video marketing.
