German national, with more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector, where he has held different roles in product- and market development, government affairs and business intelligence. Mr Berkenkamp started his career in the wind business with Enron wind. During 15 years with GE he held various leadership positions in product management, strategic marketing and government affairs. He led various investment, growth and market entry initiatives in the EU and other European states, Russia, Kazakhstan, Singapore, North Africa, South Africa as well as in the Middle East. Mr Berkenkamp held various key roles in industry associations in Europe and Germany, such as holding the position of the Vice President at European Wind Energy Association, and is a recognised advisor to various governments. In 2015 Mr Berkenkamp founded advise2energy specialised in supporting investors in the energy sector.
