George has over 25 years’ experience of working in the leisure industry at Drayton Manor. He has held positions and activities ranging from sweeping floors, cleaning tables at 12 years old, cooking burgers, and serving ice cream, to managing the zoo, security, grounds, and facilities manager, and then eventually becoming company director. In that time, George has overseen the company grow to 1.2 million visitors, becoming a national brand and a staycation destination.
