Monica grew up in Colombia, but started her career as an intern building custom software in Texas. During her six years at Oracle Corporation, she learned about consulting and became a trusted advisor for global companies in the US and Europe. In 2012, Monica made the leap to entrepreneurship and became Founder and CEO of MAS Global Consulting, based in Florida with nearshore offices in Colombia. MAS Global partners with clients to support digital modernization initiatives, by building end to end Agile Software Development teams with the best talent in the US and Latin America, collaborating in the same time zone to build modern custom solutions with latest technologies. MAS Global was named in the Inc5000 list by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in America, ranked #12 among the top software companies in Florida. Monica is active in the Latinx, Tech and Women Business community: Member of ALPFA, HITEC, WBENC. She is also an Advocate for Women In Tech and has been a speaker at various IT industry events. Furthermore, Monica is an alumna from the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative-Education Scaling Program, which is a collaboration between Stanford University and LBAN-Latin Business Action Network. She is also a mom and enjoys showing the world the innovative side of Latin America.
