Dr. Efthymia Ioanna Koytsoumpa is currently working in the R&D department of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe GmbH on the sector of New Products & Innovation (2013-Now). The R&D work covers current and future topics of power plant technology and she has especially focused on Power to Fuel technologies as energy storage for the power,process and steel industry. She has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering accomplished at National Technical University of Athens (2004-2010), where she has also performed her PhD on the topic of power to fuel and gasification technology for the production of methanol and SNG. She has accomplished her Diploma Thesis in Technische Universität Graz (2009-2010), she has worked as a visitor in Friedrich Alexander Universität in Nürnberg (FAU-2012) and as research assistant at the Center of Research and Technology Hellas, CERTH (2011-2012). She has 6 publications in Journals and 16 in conferences
