Jan Andersson is a Market Development Analyst of Wärtsilä Energy Solutions. He graduated 2008 from Åbo Akademi University with a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering and has since worked in different positions in both sales and development organizations within Wärtsilä. In his position as Market Development Analyst he is conducting in depth studies of different electricity and CHP markets as well as feasibility studies for specific projects. In addition he is also developing the use of the optimization tools BoFiT and PLEXOS within Wärtsilä Energy Solutions. Over the years in the power industry he has gained in depth knowledge about technology as well as the electricity and district heating markets.
