Jan Slad has more than 25 years of industry experience, mostly in different departments within Siemens. This has included Design Engineering, R&D Project Management, Service and New Unit Sales, Product Management and Marketing. In his current role, he is responsible for product management and marketing for large and mid-size gas turbine power plant solutions, particularly Combined Cycle Power Plants and Combined Heat and Power Plants. Jan completed his Masters’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of West Bohemia (UWB) in Pilsen, Czech Republic. He has presented in several national and international conferences.
