Herbert has been holding senior positions in the areas of finance, marketing & ales, business development, R&D and innovation management, with particular focus on the countries of Austria, China, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA and Great Britain. He holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Vienna and a Global Executive MBA from the Fuqua School of Business (Duke University, NC). Herbert was the CEO/co-founder of Applied Superconductor Ltd., UK, which took a leading role in developing, designing, manufacturing and marketing Fault Current Limiters. He is now the director/owner of Enovations Consulting GmbH, based in Vienna, offering consultancy services in the field of electrical energy systems with a customer base ranging from start-ups to major industry players. In this context he is developing projects in the areas of energy storage, energy cooperatives, fault current limitation and aggregator services.
