Mr Hewitt has worked in the Power Industry for over 30 Years and is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, initially starting as a vibration specialist supporting the development of an in house remote condition monitoring service before moving into contract management, account management and then department manager for Uniper’s Integrity and Materials services within the Asset Assessment and Outage Support Division. The division supports the Asset Integrity management processes, failure investigations and outage inspections within Uniper and delivers value by supporting the assets with technical advice on run, repair or replace strategies, particularly on ageing power plant.
