Dr.in Electrical Engineering from Milan Polytechnic Institute ;in WEC (World Energy Council) Eexecutive Chair of RES Systems Integration study and past Director of Task Forces on Interconnections , on Nuclear and on Energy Resources –50 years' experience in energy sector projects in more than 50 countries. Director of CESI; Vice President of GE Contracting company ;Managing Director of ABB Power Systems Italy; President R&D Center and EVP of ABB Italy. Important positions in associations as including IEEE,WEC,CIGRE. Honorary Chairman of WEC Italy and of the Federation of Scientific Associations and past President of the Italian Electrical Association. For Italian Federation of Industrial Associations, he was Vice Chair of Energy Commission and Chair of the Energy Efficiency Task-force .At present chairman of a Study Group on “Sustainable Mobility” of the Lombardia Industrial Association. He has authored /co-authored more than 350 papers in the energy field.
