Marco has an extensive international experience in the energy industry, having worked for 10 years in the upstream oil and gas sector in Italy, USA, Croatia and Russia before joining the power generation industry as a commercial and business development director in Enel Russia. After three years in this role, Marco moved back to Italy where he is now leading the Business Development Department for Europe and Morocco, and he is the program manager for Futur-e, the Enel project that aims to convert 23 old power plants in Italy. Marco has a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology. He is married and loves cooking and photography
