Paris Forino established her design studio in 2012 after building a body of work for ten years with designers and architects in Sydney and New York. She has steadily gained a reputation for understated elegance fulfilling commissions for homes, multi-family residences, luxury hotels, furniture and furnishings. Function, context and harmony are touchstones in her work, combining tradition with modernity. The arts, couture and travel inspire intelligent, beautiful conceptions that are beautifully executed. Her clients experience gorgeous interiors and lovely, intelligent objects each with elements that surprise and delight. Paris’ interior design practice creates fully conceived and finished spaces marked by thoughtful consideration of proportion and how humans will encounter, use and move through the environment. Rich details, historical features and clean lines compliment the choice of palette, material and texture to convey timeless sophistication and elicit a range of emotional responses. Composed but approachable; exacting but serene. Paris’ custom products emphasize demanding levels of beauty without compromising function. She reveals the potential of wood, metal, stone and fabrics to result in authentic, classic creations. Signature patterns, luxurious textures and fine craftsmanship add a touch of glamour and enchantment. Paris and her talented, international team has recently completed projects in New York, The Hamptons, Toronto, Miami, Stockholm and elsewhere. She has been featured in Elle Décor, Architectural Digest Online, NBC New York’s Open House TV and Interior Design magazine and honored as a “Star on the Rise” by Design & Decoration Building. Her studio was ranked by the New York Post as one of the “Top 4 Firms Designing New York City.” Paris holds an honors degree in design from the University of Technology in Sydney.
