Jérôme is the 6th generation in a trimmings French factory. Museums and historical châteaux (Versailles, Fontainebleau, Compiègne, Chantilly…) under renovation rely on Declercq Passementiers' expertise to reproduce trimmings of exceptional intricacy and beauty. The most famous decorators and architects come to Declercq Passementiers to find the matching trimmings with their furnishing fabrics. A nice tieback over a curtain, a sofa fringe, a braid or a gimp for cushions… Trimmings ornament, enrich, and give life to the fabrics on which they are sewn. Declercq Passementiers proposes a very large choice of trimmings from the standard collections or the archives which could be made again in different materials, sizes and colours.
