Sara Lopergolo is a Partner at Selldorf Architects with more than 25 years of experience. Ms. Lopergolo has been with the firm for seventeen years and has contributed to the firm’s vision of an architecture that puts the individual experience first and as a result, the work is brought to life–and made complete–by those who use it. She works closely with Annabelle Selldorf on the design for the firm’s major projects including large-scale new construction and cultural facilities, serving as Partner-in-Charge on projects such as the Sunset Park Material Recovery Facility in Brooklyn and the David Zwirner Gallery. Ms. Lopergolo has been involved in many of the firm’s condominium designs in New York City including 200 Eleventh Avenue, 21 East 12th Street, 42 Crosby Street, and 10 Bond Street. She is currently leading the comprehensive renovation and expansion projects of the Frick Collection and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. She received a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, and has studied and worked in England, Italy, and Japan.
