Christie Lammers MS, RD, LD, SNS is the Student Nutrition & Culinary Services Director at Texarkana ISD, will be the TASN Secretary/Treasurer 2023-2025, has been a TASN Member for 7 years, SNA Member for 5 years, served on the TASN Membership Committee in 2019, and participated in the TASN Conference Planning Committee in 2021. Christie served as moderator during the 2022 TASN Conference in Ft Worth. Her district team members sat on an industry panel at the 2019 Business of Numbers & Nutrition Conference in Austin, TX. Christie attended the University of Central Arkansas where she received her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, masters degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, and completed her Dietetic Internship. She also completed the Teacher Certification Program at Texas A&M University, Texarkana. She is a Nationally Registered Dietitian, Texas Licensed Dietitian, and holds a SNS Certification. Additional achievements include: Leadership Texarkana class of 2020, serving on the Board of the Texarkana Tough Kookie Foundation for Breast & Childhood Cancer Awareness, formed the Texarkana Association of School Nutrition TASN Chapter in 2019, served as Chapter President from 2019-2020. Her district, Texarkana ISD, has received 2 - Best of The Bunch Awards in the past 4 years for their Farm to School efforts. Texarkana ISD also has had a zero finding Administrative Review for operating: The National School Lunch, National School Breakfast, After School Care, Seamless Summer Option and Child & Adult Care Food Programs in the last 3 years.
