Bill Goodwin




Bill is the General Counsel of AirMap, a start-up powering the future of low-altitude flight, where he manages the legal and policy teams. He is an expert in the area of state and local UAS policy. Prior to AirMap, he was a member of Morrison Foerster’s UAS/Drone Group and counseled clients regarding some of the unique product liability, licensing, and regulatory risks that arise in the drone context. Bill is a frequent speaker on the legal and policy issues associated with drones, including testifying before Congress. He has worked with elected and appointed officials at the federal, state, and local level on laws and policies related to UAS. Previously, he worked in political network visualization and state and local government consulting.
