Mr. Williams currently serves as the Deputy Commandant, Signal School, United States Army Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, GA. Mr. Williams earned a commission in 1984 through ROTC at South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC as a U.S. Army Signal Corps Officer. His assignments included Platoon Leader and Battalion Signal Officer, 1st Calvary Division; Military Intelligence Battalion Signal Officer, 2nd Infantry Division; Brigade Signal Officer and Company Commander 4th Infantry Division; Signal Officer Small Group Instructor; Battalion S3, 2nd Infantry Division; J6, Special Operations Command Joint Forces Command; Signal Brigade S3, 93rd Signal Brigade; and Commander, 369th Signal Battalion. In 2009, Mr. Williams culminated his Military career as the Division Chief, Concepts, Requirements and Doctrine Division and retired as a Colonel with 26 years in the US Army. Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing and a Masters Degree in National Strategic Studies from the Air University, Air War College, and Maxwell Air Force Base. Some of Mr. Williams’ military recognition include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medals, a Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Parachutist Badge. As a Department of Defense Civilian he has received a Superior Civilian Service Award.
