Ed Hine




Edward “Fungus” Hine, Vice President – BD & Marketing at HAZON Solutions, is a veteran of the US Navy where he enjoyed an extremely dynamic 11-year Navy career focused on attack aviation, including over 400 hours of combat experience as a Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) in the F/A-18F Super Hornet. During his time in the F/A-18 community, Ed served as a maintenance division officer for Strike Fighter Squadron 103, the Jolly Rogers, and as the current operations officer at the second largest fighter squadron in the world, Strike Fighter Squadron 122 where he was responsible for scheduling assets worth more than $4 billion dollars. He left the aviation community to serve as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) and fire support officer with Navy Special Warfare. During his time working in the fast-paced special operations world, Ed distinguished himself as a combat proven controller, an exceptional leader and a relentless innovator. Ed is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, he is an FAA rated private pilot and is Part 107 certified. Ed and his wife live in Virginia Beach where he enjoys playing and watching sports with their boys and outdoor cooking with his wife.
