Ronald D. Hahn serves as Executive Vice President, Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Strategies for AECOM. Ron is responsible for the development of a comprehensive CIP strategy that includes – key legislation, policy/doctrine considerations, expert analysis of current and future security landscape, critical technology considerations, security and protection solutions and key industry, Federal, and academia engagements. Ron leads AECOM efforts to provide innovative CIP solutions and proven “military grade” wireless/mobile expertise, cybersecurity, physical security solutions. Ron’s and experience provides the unique capability to perform accurate assessments of Industrial Control System (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Operational, Business and wireless infrastructure to protect data across the electronic security perimeter. Mr. Hahn developed and led the Department of Defense Electromagnetic Spectrum (wireless) vulnerabilities assessment team that was responsible for evaluating US Department of Defense systems for potential vulnerabilities ranging from electromagnetic interference to the use of advanced electronic warfare threats. Ron Hahn served twenty years in the United States Marine Corps, and is a recognized expert in counter terrorism, electromagnetic spectrum and electronic warfare, technologies, threat/mitigation actions, strategies and policy/doctrine development. He has advised numerous government organizations on to include: Senate Armed Services Committee, House Armed Service Committee, Department of State, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Central Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, and NATO on security strategies and solutions. Ron was a member of the 2013 Defense Science Board study on 21st Century Military Operations in a Complex Electromagnetic Environment.
