Craig Coker




Craig, Chief Pilot of DroneUp, has been employed in the UAV industry since 2011. He was an Ambassador and beta tester for DJI from 2012 to 2014. Craig has been Director of Aerial Cinematography on national advertising projects for clients such as Toyota, Mercedes, Kawasaki, Panasonic, Sony, and Red Bull. Craig was also the Director of Drone Cinematography for the YouTube year in review documentary for 2013 that garnered 127 million views. Craig joined DroneUp full time after leading DroneUp's Hurricane Harvey response as a volunteer in 2017 where he directed post-hurricane assessment flights. As Chief Pilot, Craig is responsible for leading flight missions, building training materials and ensuring our pilot community is engaged and informed. Craig also leads DroneUp’s enterprise video production projects. Mr. Coker has 24 years of experience with camera systems and owns a personal fleet of UAS's with an impressive array of cameras and sensors. Craig is an expert in drone video production- from preflight planning through post-production editing. Craig will share tips for using drones to capture compelling images and video.
