Scott Mlakar

Assistant Chief Scott Mlakar has 34 years in the fire service, Paramedic, Fire Investigator, Haz-mat Technician, Rescue Diver, Chief in charge of Special Operations (Rope, Confined Space, Structural Collapse, Water Rescue), Remote 107 Pilot. He developed and Implemented one of the first Public Safety UAS units in the State of Ohio. Currently, Scott is in charge of the Lake County, Ohio Public Safety UAS team which is comprised of Fire and Police pilots and serves the Fire, Police, SWAT, Bomb Squad, Haz-Mat Technical Rescue, Fire Investigation and Crime Lab in Lake and surrounding counties.
