Yinian Mao




Yinian is founder and CEO of Airlango Technology. Founded in 2015, Airlango specializes in advanced perception and intelligence for robots and drones. Airlango’s first product, the Mystic AI drone, combines both robotics advancements and artificial intelligence to bring users new experiences. Before founding Airlango, Yinian Mao was Senior Staff Engineer with Qualcomm Research, San Diego. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland in 2006, and B.S.E. degree in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2001. He was a co-author of more than twenty peer-reviewed papers, and inventor for more than 30 patents worldwide.
