Michael Ott




Michael is the CEO of Rantizo, an agricultural drone spraying company. Michael is a chemist and venture capitalist who has been the first employee at six different companies. His focus is on solving problems in agriculture using innovative technologies. Prior to Rantizo, Michael founded Terra Biologics, an algae biofertilizer company. This was spun out of Nidus Investment Partners, an early stage venture group whose investors were Monsanto, Novozymes and Bunge. Michael is a lifelong Iowan who has traveled extensively for his career, including time in India, Brazil, Ukraine and El Salvador. Michael lives in Iowa City with his wife Anne and two sons.
