Boulder, CO – Wallaroo Hat Company has revealed the newest editions to its collection of trendy, UPF 50+ rated hats. The Aussie-inspired headwear brand gave retail and fashion insiders an exclusive preview of the new collection at the 2017 Surf Expo (booth # 2994).
With natural fibers playing a major role in their upcoming line, Wallaroo Hat Company will introduce 13 new styles to their collection. Utilizing raw materials such as raffia, abaca, and seagrass, as well as unique crafting techniques, Wallaroo takes stylish sun protection seriously. In addition to the new styles, the 2017 collection also features new colors of some of the Wallaroo hats we already know and love.
Recognized for their sun protective and packable headwear, Wallaroo creates styles for women, men and children that block out 97.5% of the sun’s harmful rays. As a staple for sun conscious and style-savvy consumers, Wallaroo hats are available in a variety of colors and fabrics.
Wallaroo’s 2017 new additions:
- Malibu – This Raffia fedora hat is perfect for any daytime occasion. Silver and gold-colored beads spruce up the look of this classic style.
- Hailey – A cowboy hat made with sustainable, natural raffia, the Hailey has a scaled-down 2¾” inch brim, perfect for petite heads.
- Emma – Top off your look with this 5” brimmed bohemian hat made with 100% paper braid. The unique ruffle braiding gives the impression of lace, while the dark brown linen sash with wood buckle adds a chic touch.
- Tina – Made from 100% raffia, this woven cowboy hat is made for the all-natural cowgirl, but will look good on anyone.
- St. Tropez Trilby – A twist of our St. Tropez hat, this fedora is perfect for a casual day with friends. Available in natural combo and orange combo.
- Harper – Whether you’re trying to make a grand entrance or simply receive protection from the sun at sea, this ribbon hat is sure to have a dramatic effect with its 4½” brim. This packable hat is available in white, camel, cranberry and black – with a faux leather trim around the crown.
- Kristy – The 3” brimmed fedora is 100% poly-propylene and gives a simple yet classic and structured appearance. Available in ivory/ice blue and ivory/black.
- Taylor – Who said there’s no such thing as a stylish golf hat? Created to add flair minus the distraction, this golf hat is 100% cotton with a matching removable chin strap Available in white, tan and navy.
- Charleston – This twisted seagrass hat is perfect for the man looking for that island getaway style. The removable chin strap with adjustable toggle and inner drawstring adjustments protect and secure.
- Blake – The classic fedora look receives a modern makeover with the Blake’s zig zag stitching and a black ribbon detail around the crown. The 3¼” brim ensures shade from all angles.
