Our vision at Brilliant is to bring unity to the home. We are removing the strain of interacting with all of the smart home devices that increasingly are in your home. From lights, music, climate, security, and doorbells, to whatever comes next, we unite the home through intuitive touch, voice and motion controls that are easy for everyone in the home to access and use.

With nearly half of all homes projected to have at least one smart home product in 2018, the smart home era is definitely upon us. This explosion of new smart home products is creating a user experience and design problem creeping into our homes - the more products you add to your house, the harder it is to use your house. Each interaction requires finding your mobile phone to navigate multiple apps, and if you are a guest or child without a phone, you can’t access them at all. 

The Brilliant Control solves this by giving anyone in the room easy touch and voice control for all your smart home capabilities, and it can be installed just by replacing an existing light switch.  Want to pick your favorite Spotify station to play on your Sonos? Just tap the screen. Want to turn up the temperature on your Nest thermostat? Just ask. 

The Brilliant Control removes “technoclutter” from your shelves by combining many technical features into one solution that fits seamlessly into your wall. You instantly get smart lighting capabilities, including dimming, motion detection, and multi-way lighting. Amazon Alexa is built in, so you can ask for weather, news, and more without the need for Amazon Echo. There is also video intercom between Brilliant Controls, a mobile app for remote access, and the ability to personalize the display with your own photos.

The Brilliant Control increases the simplicity of interacting with your home through the creation of custom Scenes such as “Wake Up”, “Good Night”, and “Movie Mode”. These Scenes can be automatically applied at certain times of day, when you walk into a room, or at the touch of a button. By understanding when you aren’t home, the Brilliant Control can also be used to turn off lights and other devices to save 5- 38% on lighting costs.

The Brilliant Control starts at $249, and can be installed in less than 20 minutes. Our initial launch sold out in just 19 days, largely based on word of mouth.
