Since its creation in 1997, the CIHEF or « Interbranch Organization for French Essential Oils » aims at developing and promoting the French essential oils of lavandin, lavender and clary sage.
The organization represents the sector « from the field to the bottle », as its members are producers (plant growers) of lavandin, lavender and clary sage and producers cooperatives as well as companies (“first buyers”), which purchase directly essential oils to producers.
