The Construction Safety Council was founded in 1989 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of safety and health interests in the field of construction. It was chartered by a Board of Directors comprised primarily of large construction company owners and operators whose vision and leadership made the organization possible. Today, the organization is a world-class consortium of associations and trade unions that are unified in support of the Council's safety training mission.
